The Last Unheard Farewell

Verse 1 [Vocalist straight away sings softly in a slow tempo as a flute can be heard played soon as "This" was sang]

This land won't give back
Precious faded time that has forever passed
Young and old lives I've loved since I remember
Will never return even if I cry a lonely tear

Verse 2 [Piano enters as the singer sings a little louder but ends the last line with a more lower tone]

My empty heart and mind just can't fathom
Why my path goes on as yours comes to an end
The land and sky may let your spirits live on
Yet this simple notion can never send my late goodbyes

Verse 3 [A violin plays along with the flute following its tempo as the vocalist sings quietly and softly at the first line but sings more louder as each line is sang and a slight echo is put on the last word of the last line]

I vaugely remember days gone by
Yet great presences fill those wonderful memories
I can recall the lingering waning scents
Along with the comforting sensations from our faded bonds

(An instrumental plays here with the flute playing on its own as a single female vocalist voice can be heard doing a soft choir effect during the instrumental)

Verse 4 [Same as Verse 3 above but instead the flute doesn't come in until half way through this final verse]

Ohh how I still reminisce about time and life passed on
As voices of you all echo from our last moments
I have a bare recollection of our spent days
With your heartfelt words brimming in this painful silence

Chorus [The flute plays the instrumental bit as the vocalist sings with passion and tenderness]

The gentle wind calls to me
With words of the departed filling my being
I raise my sword towards the sky
Crying out for an answer I know I'll never recieve
Ancestors do you still watch over me
As I walk without my dear long lost companions?
Elders I left behind will you still
Impart your figment words of wisdom
In my hour of need?

[Music plays for a little longer with the flute, piano and violin playing together and each one fades out as the piano is left on its own as the vocalist does a last lingering choir effect]

I hoped you all enjoyed this piece, even though it took me awhile I did it, anyway a song writer's job is never done till all passion is lost, till next time readers.
Sorry about the long wait for another piece of lyrics writing from me but a mixture of being busy and lack of inspiration will do that to you. This piece is kinda based on something that happened way back when that has been on my mind a long while.

A friend of mine who had a dear friend was lost to her sometime ago, this person was called :icontailschao: upon hearing this news I was saddened to hear it, but with the loss of her friend along with many others that I knew and not knew personally, I felt inspired to do this piece for a long while. So I hope you all enjoy this and its good enough since I feel it could be better still, thanks for reading and hope you all enjoy.
